By rail or coach:
we recommend a short taxi from the york city terminal - it will cost you approx 3.00 GBP.
By car:
from the a1 take the a64 towards york. Shortly after driving past the services, which has a mcdonalds on your right hand side, turn off onto the filter lane to the a1237, signed for york (north) and thrisk. Follow the a1237 and at the 5th roundabout, turn right onto the a19, signed for york city centre. Drive stright on through the traffic lights at clifton green. You will then drive under a pedestrian footbridge at ST peters school. On your right you will see the grange - turn left there at the pedestrian crossing into bootham crescent and proceed for 50 metres. Bootham guest house is on your right.

Reception is not manned 24 hours a day. Check- in is between 09:00 and 14:00, or later by prior arrangement. Please telephone or email the guest house with your estimated check-in time
